Snow Policy

National Coach Works, Inc. of Virginia (Martz Group Virginia) will make a determination on the operation of its motor coaches during inclement weather based upon weather forecasts, road conditions, and closings of schools/government offices (OPM). The final decision as to the disposition of commuter motor coaches rests with the management of National Coach Works (Martz Group Virginia).

The commuters will not run in the morning anytime the Federal Government totally shuts down. In the case of a liberal leave policy for government employees, National Coach Work's management will make a final determination/decision. In the event of snow in the early morning, we will make an announcement on B101.5 WBQB as well as send out our email notification from our website bulletin board.

In the event snow starts during the day and Federal Government OPM decides to shut down, we will start running the commuters back every 10 minutes after the Federal Government shuts down except DC 10. Coaches will run the DC-2 pick ups through town and stop at the 610, 17, 3, and 208 commuter lots as required by the passengers. See below schedule.

Upon notification of any early closings due to snow or other severe weather conditions, National Coach Works (Martz Virginia) will contact the conductors. PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE MARTZ FREDERICKSBURG OFFICE. We do not have enough lines to cover all the calls that come in. Check the website at www.martzgroupva.com <http://www.martzgroupva.com> and click on the bulletin board or contact your conductor to find out the snow or severe weather status.
